CrossFit workouts combine gymnastics, weightlifting, and metabolic conditioning in varying degrees and duration to create unparalleled results. From the basic (but all-important) air squat all the way to the very technical muscle up and Olympic lifts, we utilize them all and make it workable for anyone at any level of fitness. We build strength, endurance, agility, technical ability, and general awareness of body and mind by training movements that support functional ability and translate to real life. And of course, there are the aesthetic benefits, too.
Our Roux Sculpt Boot Camp class is an action-packed burner without the barbell. This 45-minute, coach-led class is tailored to your fitness level, and provides a fun, clean, and friendly atmosphere for a total body workout. Our movements are targeted to burn fat, tone muscles, and increase your core strength. We understand trying something new can be unnerving and intimidating, but we guarantee all your fears will be put to rest as soon as you walk into your first class.
You have a spring race on the calendar, which means you should be racking up the miles rather than the reps—right? Not necessarily. A new class called CrossFit Endurance (CFE) uses a mix of short, high-intensity intervals and distance work to help athletes prep for either distance running events or pacing better in their WODs. The workouts offer the same results as logging multiple miles per day, but put less wear and tear on the body. You can look forward to building both endurance AND explosive strength in this class.
Olympic Lifting: While Olympic Lifting can be found in our CrossFit classes, this 6-week program is designed specifically to help athletes looking to improve their lifts in the clean and the snatch. Whether you are new to Olympic Lifting or a seasoned lifter preparing for their next meet, these small classes are just for you. Under the careful eyes of our coaches you will perform drills to improve technique while also increasing strength and power.
Powerlifting: If you are looking to just get strong, then this 6-week program is for you. Not only will we spend time working on our 3 powerlifting movements (back squat, bench press, and deadlift) but we will also provide each athlete with accessory work. This class is perfect for those looking to compete or just looking to build overall functional strength. Look forward to practicing these lifts as well as gaining access to and implementing accessory programming.
If you do best with more personalized attention, we have just the thing! We offer personal training and semi-private sessions that incorporate the total Roux Fitness package of fitness and nutrition. Semi-Private classes require 3-5 participants, and we offer individual lessons or monthly plans.
